In this community class participants will find meaning behind the movement that is explored. Movement that originates from Hip Hop but also intersects with modern and pedestrian movement.
We will be focusing on refining strength, fluidity, and the individual artistry through specificity and a strong since of clarity through the architecture of shaping the body as it relates to form, power, dynamics, and transition from one movement to another. We will also look at how we can use movement as a tool to speak about the issues around us and to apply change to them.
*It's recommended to wear dance ware ( Shorts, Sweats, tights..) or anything comfortable to move around.
